Sergeant Cortez is on a mission back in time to save all of humanity…if time doesn&#39;t end up killing him first. Sent to undo the TimeSplitter threat before the threat manifests in the present time, Cortez journeys into six different time periods to track down Jacob Crow, a crazed genius who has carried on his perverted science experiments through two centuries and created the TimeSplitter creatures. In a race against time, it&#39;s up to Cortez to stop Crow, or all humanity suffers the consequences. First i&#39;ll review the story mode. In the story it is the 26th century and humans and at war with a strange beast called the &quot;timesplitters&quot;. Because of the war the world is a desert like waste ground. You play a Riddick like hero called Cortez. who has to go back in time to try and find the origins of these beasts and stop the war. To do this you end up going back in time to lots of different timezones. First you go to 1924 where you meet an English naval captain called captain ash your job is to go onto an island because there is a residue that means lots of time travelling has been happening on it. From there you will find another time traveller and begin chasing him through lots of different times.<br/><br/>In every level you have a weapon called the temporal up link which can show a map like radar system or acta telekinetic devise allowing you to pull levers from a distance or throw box at enemies. Other than that you get weapons from the time zones normally including some kind of handgun followed by machine guns and in some levels rocket launchers. The story is short and although a lot of people didn&#39;t like it i found it fun and enjoyable. The most notable part is the time paradox&#39;s where you end up having to give a future version of yourself cover fire whilst they do something then later on you have to do that thing whilst receiving cover fire.<br/><br/>However asides from just the stories there is also challenge mode which is where the game shows that it doesn&#39;t take itself too seriously. In one challenge you have to perform curling with a monkey instead of a stone, and another sees youa chef having to smash all the windows and plates in a rival restaurant, one of the most fun sees you racing a mechanical cat round a track.<br/><br/>The arcade mode is by far the most fun and sometimes in league mode quite funny. It has all the standard modes death match, capture the bag etc.. It also has other ones like vampire where once a gauge drops down to zero you die but if you kill people it fills up. The arcade it almost fully customisable with you choosing what weapons are available and almost every other thing, even building your own fighting arena&#39;s with the map maker, Some of the league scenarios are funnywell for instance in one there is supposed a civil war between socks and gloves, you end upa member of the socks assaulting the gloves base. Overall i rate the gamefollows: Graphics 7/10 good graphics some good detail but not enough to leave you in awe like Gran Turismo Sound 8/10 brilliant weapon sound even without surround sound you feel immersed in the atmosphere Gameplay 10/10 good controls easier to learn and lots of fun lifespan 10/10 arcade mode never gets boring will take ages to get 100% complete with all the challenges 150 characters including the gingerbread man Overall 9/10 i loved it my favourite game just now David doak: creator of goldeneye gets to work with the Timesplitters future perfect…This one is even better than timesplitters 2 if possible…With a definitely improved single player and the multiplayer is stillfunit was…but there is one flaw no unlockable levels or modes, but it makes up for that with incredible goldeneye N64 gameplay, New gadgets, New guns, New vehicles, New characters, More zombies. The multiplayer is amazing including my favourite siberia with the jeep. But there are many other enjoyable levels including classics from timesplitters 2. Not including ice station. :( But there is nothing wrong with this game anything thats better than timesplitters 2 is perfect! David Doak is a very clever man and he should keep creating shooters like this…
